Borough of Haringey's local history collections and
archives.

The Friends of
Tottenham Marshes was set up in the summer of 2005 to act as
custodians of Tottenham Marshes. Their aims are to promote the
marshes as a valuable and enjoyable green space for the whole community
and to protect and respect the environment and the wildlife
that depends upon it.
Haringey Buildings Preservation Trust shows the building treasures that still exist in
Tottenham.
Haringey Friends of Parks Forum is the independent
and very successful umbrella organisation and network for the 30
local Friends groups of Haringey residents who are active in 'taking
ownership' of, and protecting and improving, our parks and open
spaces.
Lea Valley Bats
is voluntary bat group, devoted to bat appreciation, training,
education, detection, welfare, arranging bat outings, activities and
surveys.

Markfield Beam Engine

2006 following mounting public concern about inappropriate

Corridor and a desire for something better. The Society is
affiliated to the Civic Trust.
